Hi! I'm Teddy!
I am currently a Grade 12 student at TanenbaumChat. I started tutoring virtually in Grade 9 with Youth 4 Youth as part of my community involvement. In Grade 10 the company changed to Learn To Be and I continue with them to this day. As the demand increased, I branched out by tutoring math in person privately and added English and Science. I also work as a math tutor at Mathnasium. I recently started this website to make booking easier as I got really busy with school. I plan to continue tutoring while I am in university.

Weizmann Safe Cracking Competition
This is our safe for the Weizmann Safe Cracking Competition. We were tasked with building a safe that can be opened using physics principles. I led my group of five, delegating tasks, building the physical safe, learning and incorporating physics principles, and coding the feedback mechanism. We were successful at the competition, and we advanced to the next round, the international competition.
DECA 2026
For DECA, my group and I were tasked with creating a product. We created a wearable dementia software meant to help families, patients, and caregivers. We were inspired from our family experiences, as both myself and a group member of mine have had grandfathers pass away due to dementia. We are currently in the process of developing the prototype, and we are in constant contact with suppliers.
My Story
I have always enjoyed math. When I was in Grade 1 I started Spirit of Math (an after school math enrichment program) which I continued until Grade 7. I started tutoring online when I was in Grade 9 through an organization that set up tutors with kids in other schools throughout the province. I really enjoyed it. I was making an impact. My student looked forward to our session every week. In Grade 10 the company I was with closed and I started tutoring remotely with another organization that I am still with today. I have been tutoring the same student since I was in Grade 10.
I started this website in order to make bookings easier. I will be going to university next year. I needed a central place to manage my schedule and for ease of booking with my students.
